51 Dowanside Road

Following on from our commission at 53 Dowanside Road, we were approached by the neighbours at 51 Dowanside Road to help them realise their ambitions for their equally beautiful Grade B Listed Townhouse in Glasgow's West End. We proposed a similar reorganization of space within the basement which included a large family kitchen (currently located on the top floor) as the new focal point of the house.

The new kitchen has large glazed doors leading out into the garden space and a new patio, surfaced with reclaimed Caithness granite, providing a better link between the house and the garden.

Upstairs, all original features will be retained and refurbished with the accommodation extending to a formal dining room, living space, study and four bedrooms.
